Introduction
Taptic Touch (“we”, “our”, “us”) turns the videos you choose into synchronized haptic tracks. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using Taptic Touch, you agree to this policy.
Everything Happens on Your Device
Taptic Touch analyzes your videos entirely on your iPhone. Your videos, their audio, and the haptic files we generate never leave your device. We don’t upload, store, or view your content, and the app works without an account.
Information We Collect
Photo library access: Taptic Touch asks for access to your photo library only to show your videos and process the ones you pick. This access stays on your device.
Diagnostics: Apple may share standard, anonymized crash reports and usage statistics with us if you have opted in through iOS settings.
How We Use Information
Photo library access is used solely to generate haptic tracks from the videos you select. Diagnostics, when available, help us find and fix bugs.
How We Share Information
We have nothing to share. Your content never reaches our servers, and we don’t use third-party analytics.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data Retention
Haptic files you create are saved only where you choose to save or share them. Deleting the app removes anything it stored.
Your Rights
You can revoke photo library access at any time in iOS Settings. Because we don’t hold your data, there’s nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our end.
Your rights may vary by region (e.g., EEA/GDPR, California/CCPA).
Children
Taptic Touch isn’t for children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have, we’ll delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. We’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
