The Deal
VibeCheck lets you find out which of your photos works best. You post a photo you took or that you’re in, other people rate its lighting, composition and vibe and leave notes about the photo, and you get scores. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 to use VibeCheck.
Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abuse
VibeCheck is for honest, constructive feedback on photos. It is not a place to judge, rank or comment on people. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. The following gets content removed and accounts terminated, without refund:
- Posting photos you didn’t take and aren’t in.
- Nudity, sexual content, or anything explicit or suggestive.
- Photos of minors.
- Feedback that insults, harasses, threatens or demeans a person, including comments about someone’s body, appearance, race, gender, religion or sexuality.
- Hate speech, violence, illegal content or spam.
How Moderation Works
Feedback notes are checked before they send, and abusive notes are refused. Every photo in the Rate tab has a Report button; a reported photo disappears for the reporter at once and is taken down for everyone after several reports. Any feedback you receive can be reported, which removes it from your results and blocks that rater from ever rating your photos again. We review reports and remove content and accounts that break these terms, typically within 24 hours. Email [email protected] for anything that needs faster attention.
Your Content
You keep ownership of the photos you post. You give us permission to store them and show them, without your name or number, to other VibeCheck users as part of a test. Deleting a test or your account removes the photo. You are responsible for having the right to post anything you post.
Credits and Purchases
Credits are used to run tests and earned by rating photos. Credit packs are bought through Apple and are consumable; they have no cash value and are not refundable by us. Deleting a test returns its unused ratings as credits.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the Account tab. We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimer
VibeCheck is provided as is. Ratings are other people’s opinions and we make no promises about them. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
